According to Time Out, Vinh Khanh – officially designated as a food street in 2018 – is its defining thoroughfare. The kilometer-long street is lined with dozens of seafood grills on both sides, and there's healthy competition in the air. Packed from sunset until tomorrow, they double up as the drag’s beer bars, the meeting point for the city's fashion-forward youth and its office workers.
“Vinh Khanh is designed so you spend the whole evening in its briny embrace: street sellers pitch up selling dried squid for a pre-dinner snack and ice cream for dessert, and buskers perform in the middle of the road as motorbikes sashay around them. Clattering woks, clinking glasses and kerbside karaoke all vie for soundtrack supremacy,” it noted.
Not only describing a bustling street, this well-known travel and food magazine also lavishes praise on the snail restaurants that have helped bring the Vinh Khanh Street brand to the international stage.
