A scene from the musical “Fire from the Earth”

The play titled "Fire from the Earth" is about the fire of patriotism and the belief in a better future as it celebrates the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Hanoi’s first Party Committee, a Youth Theater representative said a press conference in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The first Party member, who faced many challenges, inspired intellectuals, workers, and peasants to unite in the fight for national liberation, which lead to the August Revolution of 1945.

“Fire” symbolizes the immortal spirit, while “Earth” symbolizes the people. "Fire from the Earth" is about the Party lighting a fire in the darkness of slavery.
