(VOVworld) – 83 photos and valuable documents regarding Vietnam’s resistance war against the American imperialists are on display at an exhibition at Lam Son park, Ho Chi Minh city.

The event opened on Friday to celebrate the 39 years since the liberation of South of Vietnam. Another photo exhibition entitled “Ho Chi Minh city-My beloved city”, was also organized at Chi Lang park. The exhibition showcased more than 50 photos featuring changes in the city over the past 4 decades showing the development of exporting and processing zones, urban areas and commercial centers.
On the same day, Dong Nai province inaugurated 9 memorial monuments at the Central Office for the South in the period from 1961 to 1962. The construction of the complex started last May, with a total investment capital worth 4.6 billion VND.
