(VOVworld) –Ninh Thuan province has focused investment in building rural access roads, pumping stations, and stone canal embankments to serve agricultural production. The province has also mobilized various economic sectors to invest in the construction of markets, schools, and communal houses. (VOV) – La Bang commune is one of seven pilot villages across the northern mountainous province of Thai Nguyen to have implemented the new rural development program. (VOVworld) - Three communes - Duy Hoa, Duy Son, and Duy Phuoc - in Quang Nam province were chosen to pilot a new rural development program over the past two years. To date, the communes have completed 7 of 19 criteria for new rural development. VoV’s Le Phuong describes the changes there.

Almost all phases of agricultural production have been mechanized resulting in measurable economic efficiencies.

(VOVworld) – Since the National Targets Program on New Rural Development went into operation a year ago, many communes in the central province of Binh Dinh have had a facelift. Worthy of note is that the local villagers are in control of the program. The initial results are attributed to the consensus shown amongst the local community.
