(VOVworld) – Dong Tam province is one of three communes in Yen The district, Bac Giang province, to pilot the National Target Program on building new rural areas. In one year, the commune has seen significant changes. Transportation is more convenient; people’s incomes have improved; and tree growing and animal raising have been restructured effectively.

(VOVworld) – After three years implementing the new rural development program, agriculture and the countryside on the outskirts of Hanoi have seen positive changes. Hanoi has drawn lessons in building new rural areas, including promoting the people’s role, mobilizing social resources, and democratically discussing policies and mechanisms.

(VOVworld) – The Tich Dien New Year plowing festival in Doi Son commune, Duy Tien dictrict, Ha Nam province, is one of many ancient festivals associated with wet rice cultivation and agricultural development. Cu Chi, heavily damaged by bombing during the war, is now becoming a highlight in the new rural development in suburban districts of Ho Chi Minh City thanks to efficient economic models.
