In his remarks, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh said the selected works vividly and authentically portray the nation’s journey in overcoming the devastating consequences of war, blockade, and embargo, and in successfully advancing national renewal and international integration.
He emphasized that literature and the arts are the soul of culture and a major driving force behind socio-economic development as well as national construction and defense.
Deputy PM Chinh stressed that creating new works under the theme “Living Forever with Time” is a meaningful endeavor that reflects the great aspirations placed on writers, artists, and intellectuals by the Party, the State, and the people.
These works, he noted, must achieve the highest artistic standards, embody profound humanistic values, and help educate and orient public aesthetics.
