Patients will be sampled for confirmation of infection by PCR and genome sequencing to identify variants of SARS-CoV-2.

The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of basic and booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine for people 12 years of age and older who are hospitalized or die in Vietnam.

The study results will provide scientific foundation for the Ministry of Health to come up with a COVID-19 prevention strategy that matches the current situation.
