Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the United Russia Party, wrote in his congratulatory letter that the CPV is the vanguard political force of the Vietnamese people, founded by President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding activist of the national liberation movement, and played a key role in regaining independence and unifying Vietnam. Today, the CPV remains the leading force ensuring the sovereignty and security of Vietnam, and the happiness and prosperity of the Vietnamese people.
In his congratulatory letter, First Secretary of Belarus Communist Party Sergei Syrankov wrote that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam has achieved many great advances in economic development, ensuring people's welfare and consolidating its positive role in the international arena. The political prestige of the Party at home and abroad will further contribute to the prosperity of Vietnam.
Leader of the Communist Party of Canada Elizabeth Rowley reiterated that the path that the Vietnamese people have chosen and fought to protect, under the leadership of the CPV, is the path to national liberation, the path to independence and sovereignty, to socialism, to peace and justice.
Also sending letters and telegrams of congratulations to the CPV were Daniel Ortega, Secretary-General of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) of Nicaragua and President of Nicaragua, Sergey Mironov, Chairman of A Just Russia–Patriots–For Truth (SR) party, Romanov Oleg, Chairman of the Belarusian “White Russian” Party, Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, General Secretary of Morocco’s Party of Progress and Socialism, Chung Eui-yong, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), Communist Party of Greece, People’s Party of Galicia of Spain, and Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus.
They all affirmed the decisive role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Vietnam’s achievements today.
