The 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam was celebrated on Wednesday in Indonesia at a ceremony, where Vietnamese Ambassador Ta Van Thong reiterated the Embassy’s tasks this year.

“The first is to contribute to upgrading the strategic partnership between the two countries and organize activities to celebrate major national holidays and 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Two-way trade must be promoted to soon reach 18 billion USD. We will strengthen people-to-people exchanges, cooperation between localities, and cooperation in culture, tourism and education,” Thong said.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Thong also launched an emulation movement, striving to achieve the 2025 goals.
