It is one of 32 helpdesks to be implemented across Hanoi during phase 1 of an initiative to guide citizens and businesses in completing online administrative procedures.

Staff members at the post office can help organisations and individuals search their records and make online payments. For those without the means or are unable to carry out these administrative procedures themselves, staff members can help them complete online public services free-of-charge at the helpdesk.
The pilot helpdesk model, a collaboration between Vietnam Post and the Hanoi's Public Administrative Service Center, aims to increase online submission rate from 30% to 80% by 2025. Vietnam Post said they have mobilized sufficient personnel and equipment to support citizens in carrying out online public administrative procedures.
