At the Government’s regular press conference for January, Deputy Minister Tu said Government Resolution 1 identifies improvements in the legal framework and law enforcement as among the key tasks for this year.

He noted that the Ministry of Justice is expected to submit 44 draft laws and resolutions to the National Assembly in 2026.

“We will submit to the Politburo a strategy for improving Vietnam’s legal system in the new era. At the same time, we will develop a set of criteria and assessment tools to simplify administrative procedures and improve implementation,” said Mr. Tu.
