He updated the community on major domestic milestones, including the successful 14th National Party Congress and preparations for the 16th National Assembly elections for the 2026–2031 term.
Mr. Man highlighted Vietnam's key achievements such as macroeconomic stability, maintained national defense and security, and enhanced international standing, laying a strong foundation for future development. He affirmed that the homeland always follows and takes pride in overseas Vietnamese.
He said: "The Party and State continue to improve policies to support the diaspora, The Party Politburo adopted 9 resolutions including Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, aiming at attracting overseas Vietnamese talent to contribute to national development. All the policies and institutions have been refined to facilitate overseas Vietnamese people to contribute to the homeland."
The Vietnamese community in Italy currently numbers around 5,500 people.
