Speaking at the meeting, Mr. To Lam underscored the special significance of the visit, highlighting high-level talks with Chinese leaders and important working sessions between ministries, sectors, and localities of both countries.
He said: "China’s rapid development has been driven by science and technology while Vietnam is aiming to develop based on science, innovation, and digital transformation. China has been very successful with its efforts, helping to improve labor productivity and generate more jobs. We should strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and infrastructure connectivity, particularly in railway systems."
The Vietnamese top leader praised embassy staff and Vietnamese representative agencies for effectively carrying out diplomatic, economic, and cultural tasks, as well as overseas Vietnamese affairs.
He expressed hope that the Vietnamese community in China will stay united, integrate actively, contribute to their host country, and stay connected to their homeland.
