Party leader emphasizes Central Steering Committee’s guiding principle

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam emphasized the guiding principle in the operation of the Central Steering Committee which is to focus on key issues, prioritize solving urgent issues at hand, and promote the role of each member, taking advantage of the opinions of leading experts to ensure practical and highly scientific solutions.

The Party leader chaired the first meeting of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in Hanoi on Monday.

“The implementation must be drastic, urgent and the results must be measurable. Each specific assignment must be linked to the individual responsibility of the presiding agency, ensuring transparency and clarity. The tasks must have clear measurement indicators," he said.

General Secretary Lam agreed with the 10 key tasks and 18 specific tasks of the Central Steering Committee. He requested that in the first quarter of this year, an action program be issued for the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
