The Party leader visited and had a working session with Missile Brigade 490 under the Artillery Corps stationed in the northern province of Hai Duong.
The Brigade has promoted its internal strength and self-reliance, and maintained good solidarity and close relationships with the local government and people, he said.
The General Secretary requested the Brigade to firmly grasp the high requirements and demands of the task of protecting the Fatherland, so that with correct awareness, determination and effort, they will fulfill all assigned tasks, both regular and extraordinary:
"It's imperative to take advantage of every opportunity, unceasingly improve the overall quality and combat readiness of the Artillery Corps towards a regular, elite, and modern revolution to build a comprehensively strong and exemplary Missile Brigade 490," Mr. Lam said.
