President calls on overseas Vietnamese to shoulder nation's mission

(VOVWORLD) - State President Luong Cuong praised the vital contributions of overseas Vietnamese to the nation's achievements, emphasizing that national unity is the foundation of the Vietnamese people's strength and success.

Mr. Cuong made the statement at the "Homeland Spring 2025" program on Sunday in Hanoi. He said policies for overseas Vietnamese reflect the Party and State's commitment to meeting their needs and expectations.

He said that the Party and State recognize and appreciate the contributions of overseas Vietnamese to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam. "I call on the Vietnamese diaspora to stay united, work together, and support the nation's mission alongside those at home," he added.
