He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting Russia-India cooperation in economy, defense, humanitarian exchanges, and high tech. Putin said the cooperation is based on a shared vision and strategic consensus, which has enabled the Russia-India partnership to continue growing strongly despite international instability.

He hailed growing energy cooperation between the country and said Russia is actively cooperating with and sharing technology with India for defense, a pillar of their bilateral relations, and that a particularly promising area of cooperation is artificial intelligence.
