(VOVworld) - Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) Gennady Zyuganov congratulated the success of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). He said that Russian communists have paid a great deal of attention to the CPV’s Congress.
They expressed their hopes that the CPV will continue having more success in socio-economic development. Zyuganov said that the CPV’s policies of modernisation and renovation have helped the country achieve a high economic growth rate, while absorbing modern technologies. He expressed his hope that Vietnam will gain an elevated position in the global economic arena.
Vietnam is a strategic partner and friend of the Russian Federation, he said, adding that the KPRF will do its utmost to boost the Russia-Vietnam strategic partnership.
