Pham Duy Hieu, CEO of An Binh Bank and President of the Startup Vietnam Foundation, is one of Vietnam’s representatives.

“I want to emphasize the word ‘innovator’, which reflects very accurately how you participate in the game. A creator is not just a person who comes up with creative solutions or creative products, but can be a person who creates an environment where creativity can arise and grow,” said Hieu.

Taking a person working in a bank as an example, Hieu said, “What you have done to make the bank into an environment where everyone can be creative, or in my case – I work for the SVF – what I have done to make the communities and ecosystems of SVF grow, that is your contribution to innovation.”

Kicking off a pivotal year of rapid development, VGIC 2025 marks a significant milestone and affirms Vietnam’s aspiration to establish its position on the global technology map.
