Among the agreements is a memorandum with Beijing Shuozoujiuzou Technology Co., Ltd., which specializes in tourism and air ticket services. The five-year agreement, valued at around 20 million USD, promotes tourism between Vietnam and China.

The two sides will collaborate on developing market-oriented travel packages and stepping up the promotion of Vietnam as a destination in China. Joint programs will include tourism fairs and marketing campaigns to attract travelers from both countries.

China is one of Vietnam Airlines' most important markets. The carrier currently operates 40 flights per week on 6 routes connecting with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
