Vietnam pledges further support for UNDP’s programs

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has always considered the UN a reliable partner during its development journey and will continue to closely coordinate with the UNDP in implementing new development programs and projects, said Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN.

At a policy dialogue held on Wednesday on repositioning development in Asia-Pacific with a focus on transformation and inclusive development, Mr. Giang highlighted Vietnam’s development vision to 2045, outstanding socio-economic achievements last year, and key priorities in creating new growth momentum and ensuring sustainable, inclusive development.

At the event, representatives from the UNDP, the World Bank, and several Asia-Pacific countries discussed trends and challenges that affect the region’s development prospects.
