The event aimed to instill patriotism, national pride, and an understanding of the sacred significance of the national flag and anthem among the younger generation.
It is part of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30), and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press (June 21).
On this occasion, the organizers, including Lao Dong Newspaper and Bao Viet Life Insurance Corporation, donated 20 houses and 2,000 national flags to soldiers and residents in Cao Bang.
