Ho Chi Minh City had the most cases, 150 cases. 9 imported cases were detected in Tay Ninh and 210 cases were detected in the community 14 localities. Of them 163 cases were reported in quarantine or lockdown areas.

On Friday, 148 patients were declared cured.

Vietnam currently has a total of 16,285 domestic cases and 1,836 imported cases. 84 patients have died.
