The program, titled “Elderly Healthcare - For a Healthy Vietnam in 2026,” was initiated by the Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association in coordination with partner organisations.

It aims to implement Resolution 72 of the Politburo on breakthrough measures to strengthen public healthcare, celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and provide healthcare services to elderly people ahead of the Lunar New Year in 2026.

Participants also received nutritional gifts, joined physical activities, and were guided on installing a remote health management application, as well as using AI tools to support medical consultations.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association, said: “Young physicians’ associations at all levels are actively screening programs, with a focus on people who need the most support, including people with disabilities, elderly citizens, those with underlying health conditions, and residents in remote and disadvantaged areas across the country.”
