Vietnam to establish a national AI development fund, complete AI ecosystem

A key priority for 2026–2027 is the establishment of a National Artificial Intelligence Development Fund. The fund is expected to provide sustainable financial resources to support in-depth research, pilot new models, and especially assist innovative startups.

Alongside funding, digital infrastructure is identified as the backbone of the AI ecosystem. Vietnam plans to develop AI clusters based on a hybrid model combining centralized physical hubs with interconnected digital networks. These centers will be located in high-tech parks, digital technology zones, and innovation hubs, forming new growth poles to attract international investment.
