At a meeting with leaders of major Azerbaijani enterprises and corporations, including AzerGold Group, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), as part of his State visit to Azerbaijan on Thursday, General Secretary To Lam said these areas are of strong interest for Vietnam.

The Party chief stated that Vietnam wants to invest in oil fields in Azerbaijan and continue importing petroleum products for its refineries, and liquefied gas for its power plants.
