In his address, Chairman Man said Italy is one of Vietnam's leading partners in Europe. Vietnam is one of the dynamic and rapidly developing economies in the Asia-Pacific region, with improved investment environment, a young workforce, a large market, and deep international integration. These are favorable conditions for both sides to strengthen cooperation and complement each other's development, he added.

Italian investors have invested in 167 projects in Vietnam, with a total registered capital of over 633 million USD, ranking 31st out of 154 countries and territories investing in Vietnam. Despite the modest investment, the potential for cooperation is enormous. The top legislator proposed strengthening connections between businesses of the two countries, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to participate more deeply in global value chains, and boosting cooperation in innovation and digital transformation.

At the seminar, representatives from businesses, organizations and associations of both countries exchanged views, shared experiences, and proposed practical solutions to further bilateral cooperation.
