Vietnam ready to boost BRICS connectivity with Asia-Pacific: Deputy FM

[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam, as host country of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum 2027, chair and co-chair of multiple Mekong cooperation mechanisms, and as an active member of ASEAN, is ready to contribute to promoting dialogue and cooperation between BRICS and the Asia-Pacific region, especially in supply chains and development finance, said a senior Vietnamese diplomat.

While headwinds are expected to temper the pace of expansion, projected growth will moderate to a still-robust 6.8% in 2026, following an 8% expansion in 2025.
