Vietnam U22 is in Pot 3 with Myanmar while hosts Philippines and defending champs Thailand are grouped in Pot 1. Pot 2 includes Malaysia and Indonesia.

The SEA Games men’s football matches will take place between Nov 25 and Dec 10 in the Philippines, with 11 teams divided in two groups. The respective group winners and the two runners up will head to the semifinals.
