Kamal Manhotra, the UN permanent coordinator in Vietnam, underscored the role and the importance of empowering young and dynamic people.

As part of the event, a dialogue was organized among representatives of young people and leaders of government agencies and National Assembly deputies.

Nguyen Trong Thua, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, said: “The Ministry will work with provincial and local agencies and international organizations to fine-tune policies for young people. We will continue to implement the youth law and make necessary revisions to the law to match the current reality. Works will be continued to realize targets set by the Vietnam Strategy on Youth Development until 2020 and other policies to facilitate them to contribute to society.”
