At a meeting with the players and their trainers in Hanoi on Friday, PM Phuc said during the tournament from November 8 to December 15, all corners of Vietnam from north to south were covered with the national red flag with a yellow star and people were full of excitement and passion to win.

Mr. Phuc praised the players for their techniques, skills, and strong will, saying Vietnam’s win of the tournament after 10 years of waiting has captured international interests and elated the whole Vietnamese nation.
