(VOVworld)-An exhibition titled “Hoang Sa (Paracel), Truong Sa (Spratly) belong to Vietnam – Historical and legal evidence” opened in Phu Quoc, Kien Giang province on Friday. On display are hundreds of items, documents and maps related to Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos.

The materials were collected by Vietnamese and foreign scholars and experts . The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of Vietnam’s sea and islands and citizens’ responsibility in safeguarding the country’s sea and island sovereignty among Vietnamese people.
