Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Nguyễn Trọng Bình said, “To better deal with any circumstances, it’s crucial to improve naval soldiers’ awareness of the importance of training, a key political task in peace time. The training is primarily focused on safeguarding national sovereignty over our seas and islands.”

Mr. Binh urged officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5 to maintain their political firmness and be vigilant against hostile forces’ schemes to successfully fulfill their assigned missions.
