(VOVworld) - 70 photos taken by journalist Nguyen My Tra of VOV's Online newspaper, during her journey to Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago are being exhibited in Ho Chi Minh City until October 20.

The photos were selected from her album while visiting Truong Sa and platform DK1 in Vietnam's southern continental shelf in June 2016.

On Saturday during the exhibition's opening ceremony, a miniature of a lighthouse in Song Tu Tay Island of Truong Sa archipelago was unveiled.

The lighthouse sculpture is made of a mixture of white glass fiber fabrics and black sand. It is 7.4 meters high and has a diameter of 1.4 meters. It is engraved with the sentence "Spratly and Paracel archipelagoes belong to Vietnam" in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
