(VOVworld)- Some 200 Vietnamese living in Japan’s Osaka prefecture and Kansai region plus many Japanese took to the streets on Sunday to protest China’s violation of Vietnam’s sovereignty in the East Sea.
Starting from Utsubo park center, protesters marched along the streets and around the Chinese consulate in Osaka. They raised Vietnamese national flags and chanted slogans demanding Beijing to stop East Sea reclamation and militarization and to respect international laws. The protest was peaceful and attracted the attention of local people and media.
