(VOVworld) – The President’s Office held a press conference to introduce the President’s order to enforce 9 laws and 1 ordinance which were approved at the National Assembly’s 6^th session. They include the Law on Employment, Law on Citizen Reception, the Land Law, and the Law on Practicing Thrift and Preventing Wastefulness.

The Land Law has adopted many changes stipulating land ownership, as well as the state’s rights and obligations on land. It also includes new rules for land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement, land registration, land use right certificate, and land price.
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Nguyen Minh Quang elaborates: "Regulations on land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement specify essential cases that the State will evict tenants, residents for national defense, security, and socio-economic development in line with Article 54 in the Constitution. The regulations have narrowed the cases that the State will acquire land for national interests, including investment projects approved by the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, and specific projects approved by the Provincial People’s Committees."

Relevant ministries and sectors have promptly issued decrees to guide the enforcement of the laws and ordinances.
