National Assembly deputy Nguyen Thi Viet Nga of Hai Phong city said the election meets the country’s development needs in the new phase: “First, it ensures the Party’s consistent, seamless, and highly effective leadership in all areas. Second, with a streamlined apparatus and unified direction, all Party viewpoints and policies can be promptly institutionalized by the National Assembly and decisively implemented by the Government, meeting the demands and tasks of the new context.”
According to deputy Tran Hoang Ngan of Ho Chi Minh City, in his oath of office, General Secretary and President To Lam demonstrated consistency in the Party’s leadership line and a firm commitment to national development goals set out at the 14th National Party Congress, aiming for rapid and sustainable growth.
He said: “The voting results reflect strong consensus among National Assembly deputies for the General Secretary to concurrently serve as President, which will help unify foreign affairs, leadership, and the institutionalization of the Party’s policies, thereby strengthening the great national unity bloc.”
Voter Le Quang Dao of Ho Chi Minh City, said: “The Party provides comprehensive leadership, closely linked with the State and the people. With the General Secretary also serving as President, the responsibility is even greater. Voters expect this term to deliver fast, strong, and sustainable economic growth, improve people’s livelihoods, and enhance overall happiness.”
