Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi has expressed hope for the revival of the nuclear deal with Iran, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), according to Iran's Mehr news agency.

Grossi emphasized the importance of restoring the agreement to ensure that Iran's nuclear activities remain peaceful. He said he had received a response from Iran's new President, Masoud Pezeshkian, which signaled a possible reopening of dialogue aimed at ensuring transparency and cooperation regarding Iran's nuclear program.

Grossi highlighted the necessity for greater transparency and cooperation, especially given Iran's expanding nuclear capabilities.

He also expressed optimism that his upcoming visit to Iran could pave the way for constructive negotiations and lead to tangible results.
