(VOVWORLD) - The 14th National Party Congress has concluded with many important decisions setting the direction for Vietnam's development in the coming years.

The Vietnamese community in Australia expressed hope that those decisions will be implemented promptly, helping Vietnam achieve stronger growth. Bui Dinh Duy, Production Director of FPT in Australia and New Zealand, said: "What impressed me most were the strategic decisions, which were very specific and clear, guiding Vietnam’s development in the coming period and creating a solid framework for a long-term vision. The decisions will ensure Vietnam’s sustainable development over the next hundred years."
Tran Ba Phuc, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnamese Business Association in Australia, and Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese Business Association Abroad, expressed hope that the Congress’s decisions will create breakthroughs and expand opportunities for economic cooperation between Vietnam and Australia.

He said: "I believe the decisions made by the 14th National Party Congress, especially the target of an average annual growth rate of 10% from 2026 to 2030, will create substantive breakthroughs in institutions, science, technology, digital transformation, and private sector development. If implemented in a coordinated, decisive, and consistent manner, those orientations will enhance economic competitiveness, effectively mobilize domestic and foreign resources, and drive rapid and sustainable national development, while elevating Vietnam's position on the international stage."
Many Vietnamese people in Australia share the belief that the 14th Party Central Committee will make groundbreaking decisions in economic development, while improving institutions and the investment environment to create more favorable conditions for overseas Vietnamese to contribute their expertise, resources, and international connections to Vietnam's development.
