With more than 48% of the votes counted, the Labor Party is projected to win 86 out of 150 seats in the House of Representatives, while the opposition coalition holds 40 seats. Based on these results, the Labor Party is confirmed as the winner of the federal election in Australia.

Australian Prime Minister and Labor leader Anthony Albanese delivered a victory speech, in which he pledged to invest in the younger generation, provide better care for the elderly, and build a stronger economy and society.
