Dien Bien on Friday became Vietnam’s 11th province infected with COVID-19.
During Friday online briefing with provinces and cities on COVID-19 prevention and control, Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long asked Dien Bien to continue contract tracing, testing, and self-quarantine.
He requested the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology and Bach Mai Hospital to immediately send staff to Dien Bien to help with testing and treatment.
