Party leader Lam proposed enhancing political trust and strengthening collaboration between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the PAP, and called for closer cooperation between the two countries in key areas such as digital transformation, renewable energy, defense, security, finance, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said that Singaporean businesses are eager to expand investment in Vietnam, particularly in emerging fields like renewable energy, carbon credits, high technology, clean energy, semiconductor production, AI, and next-generation Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks.
The two leaders agreed to strengthen collaboration within ASEAN and at other regional and international forums.
