Lawmakers will hear proposals, verification reports, and discuss in group several important draft resolutions including policies and breakthrough mechanisms for the development of Vietnamese culture; the establishment of Dong Nai City as a centrally governed municipality; a pilot scheme on the public defender system; and special mechanisms and policies to address land law violations by organizations and individuals that occurred before the 2024 Land Law took effect, as well as solutions to resolve long-standing, delayed projects.
The National Assembly will also spend one and a half days in plenary discussions reviewing the supplementary assessment of socio-economic development and the state budget in 2025; the implementation of socio-economic and budget plans in the early months of 2026; and the five-year socio-economic development plan for 2026–2030.
