During the meeting, Chairman Man informed of Vietnam’s socio-economic development, and the Party and State’s major policies, including streamlining the apparatus and merging provinces and cities.
He emphasized the importance of internal solidarity and unity for mutual development, noting priorities of developing the Mekong Delta, especially Can Tho city.
Mr. Man expressed his respect and gratitude for the heroic Vietnamese mothers’ significant contributions to the country's peace and independence.
