During the visit, key leaders of the two Parties and two countries discussed and identified major directions and measures to promote the effective and substantive development of bilateral relations, in line with the interests and aspirations of the two peoples, in accordance with relevant regulations, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
On Friday evening, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the Parade marking the founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (October 10) held at Kim Il Sung Square, Pyongyang. General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong Un presided over the ceremony.
In his speech, General Secretary and State President Kim affirmed that the Workers' Party of Korea always regards the socialist cause that the people have chosen and striven for as their own. He expressed that the DPRK people will forever remember and be grateful to the army for sacrificing themselves and blood for the great history of the Fatherland, for the dignity and honor of the nation, and for the achievements of the revolution.
