(VOVworld) – On Thursday, National Assembly Deputy Chairwoman and Vice Chairwoman of the National Electoral Council Tong Thi Phong began inspecting preparations for the elections of the NA and People’s Councils in Lang Son province.

She praised the province’s activeness in establishing sub-committees and cooperating with ministries and sectors in communicating the importance of the elections. The province has strictly followed election guidelines and assures the balance of candidates regarding gender, ethnic group and religion.

While monitoring election preparations in Binh Dinh on Thursday, National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son asked the province to strictly follow the National Assembly and Party resolutions on elections and work out specific tasks in preparation for the event.

Dao Trong Thi, head of the National Assembly Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents, and Children, checked the election preparations in Quang Binh province. Thi urged the province to pay more attention to personnel and assure social order and security during the election period.
