This event raised community awareness about the importance of biodiversity conservation, aiming to establish Quang Nam as a vanguard in green and circular economy development.
Last year, Quang Nam organized over 40 events, including forums, conferences, scientific seminars on biodiversity; networking activities among coastal and island biosphere reserves, national parks, and conservation areas; the creation of new conservation area proposals; the launch of Vietnam's first provincial biodiversity museum; and the signing of a cross-border wildlife protection agreement with Sekong Province, Laos.
Addressing the event, Phan Thai Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, highlighted the provincial biodiversity potential—from rivers and oceans to its unique flora and fauna—and its achievements in biodiversity conservation.
