During the visit, the Vietnamese leader held talks with Xi Jinping, witnessed the signing of several key cooperation agreements, and met with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning, and Premier Li Qiang.
He also delivered a policy speech at Tsinghua University; toured the Xiong’an New Area in Hebei Province; visited the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Center; met with relatives of former Chinese experts who had supported Vietnam; visited the Central School relic site (Yucai School in Nanning); and attended the launch of a Vietnam-China border people-to-people exchange festival.
At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides issued a joint statement on further deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and promoting the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance in the new era.
The successful visit will contribute to strengthening traditional Vietnam-China friendship, advancing the shared future community, and promoting peace, stability, development and prosperity in the region and beyond.
