Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communications, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission paid a working visit to Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday on the occasion of the 70th Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27.
Mr. Nghia asked the hospital to continue to perform well the most important task for medical and social development, take care of people's health, and ensure social security.
In addition, hospital leaders need to unceasingly reform mindset, operating methods, and administration to comprehensively improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, while following motto "taking the patient as the center", he said.
The hospital should expand international cooperation, promote research and application of scientific and technical advances, and digital transformation, said the senior official.
