The leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam said they hope to work with partner countries to continue fulfilling the General Secretary's wish to deepen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and partner countries, meeting the interests of the people of each country and contributing to peace, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world.
Leaders and friends from 103 countries/territories and 32 organizations worldwide sent nearly 500 letters, telegrams, and messages of condolences to Vietnam’s top leaders and the family of General Secretary Trong.
100 international delegations paid tribute to the late party leader in Vietnam and more than 3,500 delegations paid respects to him at Vietnamese representative agencies around the world.
Letters, telegrams, and messages of condolence expressed deep affection, endless grief, and profound respect for General Secretary Trong, honored his contributions to Vietnam's development and relations between Vietnam and its partners, as well as expressed their desire to continue to bolster cooperation with Vietnam in all fields.
